In 1979, MAGNET GROUP was created to develop contracts on behalf of its members in the capital equipment market. Today, as a specialty Group Purchasing Organization, MAGNET GROUP serves 9,000 providers consisting of hospitals, clinics, care facilities, and physician’s practices, focused on capital and small medical equipment, facilities related products, select medical products, HR services, technology, and purchased services.

By encouraging healthcare providers and their networks to identify their purchasing needs, MAGNET GROUP continues to provide innovative products and services to its members.

Trading Community Onboarding Services – Maximizes EDI participation of supply chain partners with services including vendor education, dedicated project management, intuitive reporting and tracking tools.
EnterpriseEC – Provides trading connectivity and management with direct connectivity to trading partners (AS2, SFTP, etc.) as well as inter-connectivity to all commercial Value-Added Networks (VANs).

ValidateEC – Captures outgoing documents, such as purchase orders and item master data, and uses them to validate corresponding incoming documents. Documents can be accepted, rejected, or pended with ability to communicate internally or with the supplier.
Testing & Certification – Allows suppliers to self-test their EDI implementations on a web-based platform, specific to the healthcare system’s requirements. All EDI and business rules can be checked to ensure accuracy.
