Position Summary

We are seeking a Software Programmer who would be responsible for the development of data integration programs to meet end-user requirements. This is an entry-level position targeted at individuals with sufficient education and/or experience to qualify them to use data mapping and code generation tools to create software programs for data integration.

We provide one-on-one training with an experienced programmer to walk new hires through our product development process. Typically training consists of a series of projects which increase in complexity as the trainee becomes more familiar with the role. Tutorials and technical reading are also included in the training process. In the end, the trainee will have practical experience with the languages used, source control, coding practices, testing, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

Qualifications

  • Two years of college technical coursework or equivalent experience

Position Summary

The EDI Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance and day to day support of the Client EDI environment and systems, ensuring smooth transitions when changes or maintenance are required. This position will operate loosely within the client’s IT department and will partner with staff across the various function departments, such as Purchasing, Receiving, Supply Chain, AP, etc. to ensure EDI functions are implemented effectively and are properly executed. This position is responsible for monitoring transaction flow between the Client and their EDI trading partners, tracking errors, and facilitating corrective action. The position frequently interacts with Client’s external trading partners and internal customer service groups with a very strong attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide functional expertise and customer support for the EDI system to Client‘s internal and external users
  • Document and maintain EDI policies and procedures for new and existing trading partner interaction, set up and communication
  • Document and organize processes, systems and contacts for improved EDI trading partner management
  • Coordinate installation and setup of Client‘s customers to enable customers to trade EDI documents
  • Create and maintain EDI documentation, specs, maps and related project artifacts
  • Coordinate testing and certification for all EDI implementations with Client‘s new EDI partners
  • Serve as EDI liaison between Client‘s various business units and functional groups
  • Coordinate with Client‘s internal staff as needed, to assist in defining system needs and requirements
  • Monitor document transmissions, business trends and trading partner activity to identify opportunities to improve relevant processes

  • Work with Development and IT infrastructure teams to maintain and improve our continuous integration environment
  • Maintain, design, and implement tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments
  • Automate and optimize processes

Qualifications

We have several openings for those interested in furthering their professional sales and customer relationship skills in an environment that centers on transparency, honesty, and a strong commitment to customer service. This role requires dedication and motivation, and is primarily an outbound phone/email, inside sales role. Compensation is base pay plus commission.
